Page 06 ![Page 06の画像](https://img01.ebook5.net/edu_career-tasu/hue_gse2026/contents/image/book/medium/image-000006.jpg) 【ページ内のテキスト情報】 経済学研究科の概要広島経済大学大学院は、1979（昭和54）年4月に経済に関する一層高度な学理とその応用のための専門の学問研究を志す人のために修士課程を設立。その後、1990（平成2）年3月の博士課程認可によって、経済学研究科に博士課程を置く研究機関となりました。博士課程は前期課程2年、後期課程3年からなり、学内はもとより、全国から経済学修士・博士を志す学生・研究者が集まっています。最近は、国際化に伴い海外からの留学生の受け入れも活発です。また、経済学の分野における学際的研究の必要性が高まる中、ネットワーク校であるインドネシア国立ガジャマダ大学、シンガポール経営大学、ポーランドのクラクフ経済大学、ポルトガルのISCTEなどをはじめとする大学との教授陣・大学院生の人的交流や学術交流をはじめ、海外の研究機関との交流も盛んです。本大学院において東南アジア研究分野の業績をあげる研究者を多数輩出しているのもこうした国際交流の成果です。このように恵まれた教育研究体制のもと、博士課程前期課程では、経済学・経営学の基礎的な研究能力と、高度な専門性を必要とする諸職業に必要な実務能力の養成も目的のひとつとしています。また、博士課程後期課程では、研究者として自立した研究活動を行うための高度な研究能力と学識を養うことを目的としています。両課程ともに、経済学の研究者を養成することを目的に高度な専門教育を展開してきましたが、近年では社会のニーズの多様化により、院生の中には研究者以外の道を選ぶ者も増えてきました。また高等学校教諭専修免許状（地理歴史・公民）等の資格取得を主な目的とする院生も少なくありません。こういった状況と、さらには大学院における高度な社会人教育へのニーズの高まりなども考慮し、より広範囲な人々に大学院の門戸を開放することになりました。すなわち、従来からの目的である研究者の養成は、「研究者養成コース」で引き続き行います。このコースでは、5年一貫制をとり、研究指導に重点をおいて経済学修士および経済学博士の学位取得を目指します。一方、経済学（経営学を含む）を学部で勉強したことを踏まえ、より高度な、経済学的な知識と分析能力を備えようとする人のために「経済学専修コース」を開設。このコースでは、専門的な授業を選択することによって、幅広い経済学的な素養を身につけるとともに、研究指導によって修士論文を作成して経済学修士の学位を得ることができます。また、このコースは高等学校教諭専修免許状（地理歴史・公民）の資格の取得などを目指す場合にも有意義なコースです。さらに、「租税制度論特論」「所得税法特論」「法人税法特論」「消費税法特殊講義特論」等といった税理士資格取得の足がかりとなりうる科目も設置されています。FeaturesofGraduateSchoolofEconomicsInApril1979,HUE’sGraduateSchoolestablishedaMaster’sProgramforpeoplewishingtospecializeinthestudyofmoreadvancedeconomictheoryandapplication.TheGraduateSchoolofEconomicswasabletoprovideforaDoctoralPrograminEconomicsafteritsapprovalinMarch1990.TheGraduateProgramconsistsofatwo-yearMaster’sprogramandthree-yearDoctoralprogram.Studentsandresearchscholarsfromacrossthenation,inhopesofgainingmaster’sanddoctoraldegreesineconomicshaveattendedourprogram.Andwiththeadvancementofinternationalizationinrecentyears,thenumberofinternationalstudentsadmittedtotheprogramhasincreasedrapidlyaswell.Furthermore,astheneedforinterdisciplinaryresearchinthefieldofeconomicshasrisen,personalandscholarlyexchangeshaveincreasedbetweenprofessorsandgraduateschoolstudentsofHiroshimaUniversityofEconomicsanditsnetworkpartners,whichincludeGadjahMadaUniversity(Indonesia),SingaporeManagementUniversity(Singapore)andtheCracowUniversityofEconomics(Poland),ISCTE(Portugal);andfrequentexchangeswithforeignresearchinstitutionshavetakenplaceaswell.AnotherproductofsuchinternationalexchangeisthelargenumberofresearchscholarsandspecialistsproducedbyHUEandtheachievementstheyhavemadeinSoutheastAsianstudies.Implementedundersuchanexcellenteducationalsystem,theMaster’sProgramfocusesondevelopingtheabilitytoconductbasicresearchineconomicsandbusinessadministration,andondevelopingpracticalskillsneededbyprofessionsthatrequireahighdegreeofspecialization.TheobjectiveoftheDoctoralprogramistodevelopadvancedresearchcapabilitiesandknowledgesothatstudentscanconductresearchactivitiesindependentlyasresearchscholars.Thefocusofbothprogramshasbeentoprovideahighlevelofspecializededucationinordertodevelopeconomicsresearchscholars.Inrecentyears,however,astheneedsofsocietyhavediversified,therehasbeenanincreasingnumberofgraduatestudentswhohavechosenpathsotherthanthatofresearchscholar.Infact,themainobjectiveofaratherlargenumberofgraduatestudentshavebeentoacquirequalifications,suchasteachingcredentialstobecomeahighschoolteacher(geography,history,orcivics)andsoforth.Wehavetakenintoaccountthissituationaswellastherisingneedforadvancedadulteducationatgraduateschools.Asaresult,thedoorstograduateschoolareopeningtoabroaderspectrumofpeople.The“ResearchScholarDevelopmentCourse”performsthetraditionalobjectiveofdevelopingresearchscholars.Thisprogramwillbeacoherentfive-yearcourseofstudy,placingemphasisonresearchguidanceforstudentsaimingtoacquireamaster’sordoctoratedegreeineconomics.An“EconomicsSpecializationCourse”isalsoavailablesothatstudentscanselectspecializedcoursesthatwillallowthemtoacquireabroadfoundationineconomics;moreover,throughresearchguidance,studentswillbeabletoprepareamaster’sthesisandobtainamaster’sdegreeineconomics.Thisprogramisalsousefulforpersonshopingtoacquireteachingcredentials(geography,history,orcivics)toteachatthehighschoollevel.Furthermore,wehaveaddednewcoursestoassistinacquiringtaxaccountantqualificationssuchas:TaxSystem;IncomeTaxLaw;CorporationTaxLaw;and,SpecialLecturesonConsumptionTaxLaw.4 ##
